Thanks for the history class the first missions of call of duty Black ops 2 is about the Angolan civil war now I understand what the game put
Great video. One thing I would add as a critique would be that you should've used both the South African Republic (apartheid) flag and the current modern day flag. It's important people know the distinction between the two governments represented by the proper flags
Thanks
bonjer
thanks so much!
You cant teach not in a bad way
hi for part a at 10:57 , why is x set to less than or equal to 4 and why not more than or equal to?
cuz the question says 1 in 10 phones and the number of phones is 40 which means 4 phones have cracked screens and having x is less than or equal to 4 is§ more accurate than stating more than or equal to 4 as x being more than equal to 4 is talking about the remaining 9 in 10 phones which is wrong ,hope this helps.
Quite the bravery of writing with a mouse.

### Beginning - **Causes of Crisis in Afghanistan** - April 1978 coup overthrows Muhammad Dawud Khan. - Khan was part of PDPA (People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan). - Fellow PDPA associates overthrew Khan due to failure in implementing socialist principles. - Muhammad Taraki comes to power after Khan's murder. - December 1978: Soviets sign a 20-year friendship treaty with Afghanistan. - Soviet aid fails to stabilize the country. - **Taraki's Modernization Program** - Aims to eradicate illiteracy, uphold women's rights, and promote secularism. - Dictatorial and brutal against opposing groups, causing hostility among conservatives. ### Middle - **Uprising and Political Instability** - March 1979: Violent uprising in Afghanistan; Taraki appeals to Soviets for help. - Soviet Politburo reluctant to send troops due to potential collapse of détente with the US and increased tensions with Muslims in Soviet Central Asia. - September 1979: Taraki murdered by faction led by Hafizullah Amin. - Amin's unreliability and growing Islamic opposition worried Soviets. - **Soviet Interests and Decision to Invade** - Shared 2,500 km border with Muslim Central Asian republics of USSR. - Afghanistan as a socialist state and ally of the USSR. - Fear of Afghanistan aligning with the USA, Pakistan, and China. - Brezhnev sees protection of Afghanistan as a security necessity. - Invasion decision backed by Soviet defense minister, KGB chief, and politburo members. - **Invasion and Initial Success** - December 24, 1979: Soviet airborne troops land in Kabul. - Within three days, they take over strategic installations and kill Amin. - Babrak Karmal, a Soviet loyalist, replaces Amin. - High desertion rates among Afghan forces mean Soviet soldiers do most of the fighting. ### End - **Soviet Struggles and Withdrawal** - Soviets control cities, while Mujahideen control the countryside. - American weapon supplies strengthen Mujahideen. - Soviets struggle with economic and military challenges in the mountainous terrain. - Geneva Agreement 1988: Soviets pledge to withdraw troops. - Heavy Soviet casualties: 15,000 killed, 50,000 wounded, 10,000 disabled. - Psychological impact: soldiers return with "Afghan syndrome." - **Aftermath and US Reaction** - Over a million Afghans killed; post-withdrawal civil war. - Soviet invasion seen as a significant threat by the USA. - Iran's anti-American Islamic fundamentalist regime adds to the tension. - President Carter condemns the invasion and takes several actions: - Postpones SALT II negotiations. - Imposes economic and cultural sanctions. - Provides military and economic aid to Pakistan. - Boycotts the 1980 Moscow Olympics. - Carter Doctrine (January 23, 1980): - Commitment to prevent further Soviet advances in the Persian Gulf and Southwest Asia. - Emphasis on potential military response. - Increased US defense budget under Carter. - Soviet invasion signals end of détente, marks the start of the second Cold War.
The Cornish rebellion was in 1497
You are wrong. The Cuban's never defeated the SADF at Ebo or anywhere else! During Operation Savannah it was the rain and swollen rivers along with objections from the west, mostly the yanks (over gulf oil interests) which forced the SADF to withdraw. A small force of SADF sent the Cubans packing. Pushing them back 3000kms in 30 days. From the SWA border all the way to Luanda. You should do better research.
And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. -John 3:16 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. -Acts 3:19 If you are in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: OPC, PCA, Rpcna, Urcna, or a Canrc church (These are conservative and actual Presbyterian/Reformed churches) If you can’t find one of the conservative presby churches then, maybe an Lcms Lutheran church. If you’re Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC. (Different from the Church of Scotland) If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England (Different from the Church of England) Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it will show you locations. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. -Hebrews 10:24-25
Just wanna say that your cold war series is without a doubt the best there is on youtube. Thanks for breaking it down in such an interesting and unique way. So much better than the textbook

America didn’t lose the Vietnam war. North Vietnam finally went to the Paris Peace Accords because America was bombing them back to the Stone Age. They agreed to all of the terms. America also promised to pull out of Vietnam and provide South Vietnam with all and any equipment necessary to defend itself. However, after the democratic won a majority in congress, they refused to honor the agreement and turned its back on South Vietnam. North Vietnam then started testing and attacking. When they saw that America was not going to help the south, they commenced an all out invasion. In essence, it was a different war.
Nguyen Huu Tho defeated Henry Kissinger at the negotiatation table, look up the context of the terms, it was more towards the communists, the US shot themselves to the foot with this one.

Every President except Martin VanBuren and Donald Trump is/was related by blood to King John Plantagenet that placed his official seal in wax (this practice predates signing documents) the Peace Treaty that later became known as the Magna Carta after being captured and under the threat of being killed. Without the Magna Carta the Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, nor our Bill of Rights would exist in their current form if at all. His heirs have nearly exclusively retained power over America hundreds of years later. Why is 18-19% of the population addicted to their daily TDS fix? Fear and trauma based mind control mixed with black magic.
It is, and always was, OIL. Angola floats on more oil than OPEC can dream of and it's ALL sold to the CCP of China. Africa doesn't get a single drop

@@danielrawsthorne108oh, well my 20th great grand dad was a Thegn named Dæglaf of Eoforwic who fought at Stamford, joined Hereward the Wake after the death of King Godwinson, and after that didn’t work out he became a Varangian. My great grandfather is way cooler than your great grandfather.
